    We are rebuilding the web presence of Machon Ramhal, a small Torah publishing institute in Jerusalem founded in 1986, replacing three separate legacy sites (Hebrew, French, English) that are the same installation cloned once per currency, with a single trilingual site — Hebrew at the root, /en and /fr prefixed — serving one catalogue of about 100 books. It is built as one Next.js 16 application with Payload 3 embedded as the CMS and admin on PostgreSQL, deliberately self-owned rather than on a hosted store platform, because the institute must not be locked to a vendor. The only person who will operate it is the founder's son, who is not technical and works in Hebrew, and no developer will maintain it after handover, so the code has to be readable by a stranger and nothing may depend on someone remembering an undocumented ritual. with budget we trying to start free for the POC, took Neon (free) github, and thinking of the others tools ... The storefront, catalogue, cart, shipping rules, orders and a mock checkout are built and tested; what remains is a real payment provider (PayPal first, an Israeli card gateway second, hosted payment page only), deployment... where should we deploy?
